Want to work in early years? Are you motivated by the idea of providing a fun and safe environment in which young children can develop and flourish? Are you an early years practitioner looking for a new challenge?

If the answer is yes then join our talent pool!

Our Early years talent pool can help you to maximise your chances of finding a suitable post by being put forward for roles you may not have considered already. Being in the Early Years talent pool will not prevent you from making applications direct to recruiting settings if you wish, but it could increase your chances of securing a suitable post.

Working in early years is varied and rewarding. You will support children aged 0-5 to access engaging learning experiences, helping to shape their development in a nurturing environment. You can choose to specialise in a particular age group or work across all age ranges.

There are lots of different and interesting roles on offer in early years settings. Please indicate on your application from which roles you are interested in being put forward for. If it is more than one you can tailor your personal statement to each role.

Settings will request searches from us based on their needs. Please be aware your application will only be sent to settings who request a search, should you meet their criteria. We will let you know which settings you are put forward to.

How to apply

Please click on the ‘Apply for Job’ button. You will be asked to log in or create a Teacher Booker account, then be re-directed to apply using our easy, online form.

The application form will give you the opportunity to tell us about yourself, including, previous experience, skills, where in the county you would like to work and how many hours per week you can work.

In your personal statement please tell us why you are interested in working in an early years setting and the relevant skills and experience you have to offer. If you have indicated interest in more than one type of role, please make sure your personal statement includes your relevant skills and experience in relation to each role.

Once we have received your application we will contact you for a chat about your preferences, experiences and motivations for working in early years.

We look forward to talking to you and welcoming you to the Early Years talent pool.
