We are seeking to appoint a caretaker For Sprowston Infant and Junior schools. Our vision is to achieve outstanding outcomes and progress for all pupils within a caring, supportive and safe environment. Hours of work, 7.00-12.00am and 4.00 – 6.00pm, Monday to Friday. There will be some additional hours to be worked during school holidays.
We are looking for someone who:
• Understands the basic principles of site management
• Is able to carry out premises’ inspections and risk assessments
• Has an understanding of Health & Safety regulations and procedures
• Is able to deal with emergencies and problems in a positive and systematic manner
• Takes responsibility for the security of the premises, undertaking keyholder responsibilities and is available to answer emergencies outside of regular working hours
• Undertakes an allocated level of cleaning alongside the site cleaners
• Has a willingness to take on new challenges and an eagerness to accept responsibility
