The Governors of this welcoming and successful Norfolk community village school wish to appoint a new Headteacher who will embrace both the strengths of the past, the challenges of the future and continue to make the school a positive educational environment for pupils, staff, parents and the wider community. 

The school year 2025 -2026 will be the first full year for our school to be located at our brand new school facility, still in the village.

We are looking for a Headteacher with:

  • The ability to lead and inspire by example the next exciting phase of our school’s journey
  • A track record and experience of excellent Leadership, Teaching and Learning
  • A strong commitment to providing a caring and positive ethos for staff, pupils and parents
  • An effective people and resource manager
  • A clear understanding of the business and financial requirements of a modern school
  • Vision and ability to lead the school through its first full year (and beyond) in a new school building
  • Strength to meet the developments and changes in the educational landscape
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to deal with the broad range of positive and challenging aspects of school life
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
