Welcome to Inclusive Schools Trust

Background

Inclusive Schools Trust (IST) is a unique Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) with a shared vision that pupils will be championed throughout their educational lives and beyond, so that they are able to reach their full potential.

IST is a MAT containing six established Infant and Junior schools, five of which are ‘good’ and ‘outstanding’ and one sponsored school. IST ensures that schools within the MAT keep their identity, ethos and core beliefs and celebrate and understand the individuality of each of the schools and their communities.

We have a desire to remain small enough to fully understand the unique qualities of our individual schools, and yet large enough to have the capacity to deliver the highest quality challenge and support.

IST sits within the city of Norwich and some of its schools are directly involved with projects relating to the Norwich Opportunity Area (NOA) plan for social mobility. It works collaboratively with the Local Authority to raise the attainment and achievement across all its schools.

Our most important asset is Lionwood Teaching School, which supports the vision by providing all schools with bespoke professional development and support for school improvement.

Our desire to be both inward and outward facing in equal balance ensures that we work to maintain high standards in the schools within the Trust but also support as many schools as possible to share that relentless pursuit of excellence.

Our values

Inspire all children to be successful and have high aspirations

Nurture and support children to be resilient, confident and responsible

Create a strong learning culture and a desire to make a difference

Listen to all members of the community and encourage collaboration

Urge all staff to seize every opportunity to raise achievement

Scaffold and model learning through effective teaching and guided discovery

Instil a love of life-long learning through the development of the whole child

Value and respect the individuality of all children and their learning

Embrace the diversity of the school communities and champion all children

Why work for us

This is an exciting time to join Inclusive Schools Trust as it continues to grow, creating opportunities for staff development and career progression across its schools.

We place high value on our staff and believe that each member has an important role to play. We encourage staff to develop their skills and talents and provide extensive opportunities for collaborations both within and outside of the Trust.

We recognise the importance of staff well-being and see it as a key priority when building a resilient organisation.

If you share our values, drive for excellence, and would like to be part of a dedicated team committed to ensuring our children achieve their full potential, we would welcome hearing from you.
